Police say that Lee, while working as a nurse at Bassett Medical Center,

Lee was arraigned in the Town of Otsego Court and sent to the Otsego County Jail on $100,000 cash bail or $200,

“Cooperstown Police are currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of a recording device in a limited access,

As a result of the police investigation, a hospital employee was arrested and we immediately placed that individual on administrative leave.

Our Security Team conducted a check of other staff use areas in the hospital and clinic as well as patient areas this employee had access to. No other recording devices have been found.

Because of the sensitive nature of the investigation and out of respect for those affected and people privacy, we cannot provide more information. We are grateful to police for their respectful handling of this investigation. The security and privacy of our employees and patients is paramount. Our focus is on continuing to support staff and the care of our patients. We are a community of caring and healing and what affects one of us affects us all.”
