CLARKSTON, Wash. Detectives completed a major methamphetamine bust that shut down a source of supply for the Lewiston Clarkston Valley.
Whitman County Sheriff Office detectives arrested 32 year old John E. Hale during the bust. He was booked into the Asotin County Jail Tuesday evening.
Detectives with the Quad City Drug Task Force executed a narcotics related search warrant Tuesday evening for a home near Fair St and 13th St in Clarkston. Members of the task force had received information about the house which led to an investigation.
In addition to the information,
detectives coordinated the purchase of methamphetamine from inside the home.
Detectives located over two and a half pounds of methamphetamine which has a street value of $25,000. Detectives believe the illegal narcotics were intended for distribution in the Lewiston Clarkston Valley.
Hale was arrested on felony charges of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession with the Intent to Deliver. Hale is currently on probation with the Department of Corrections for a prior narcotics conviction.
