Extensive re branding of 35 Glovers Court was originally tabled by David Cox Architects in 2015 and approved by Preston City Council with a drainage condition.
Reid Architects, based in Manchester, have now taken over the project and have recently submitted plans to the council to vary the original drainage condition.
Reid Architects have designed many innovative designs before such as The Alchemist at Salford Media City, The Pinnacle on Manchester King Street and Innside Hotel.
Original plans for Glovers Court included the construction of 30 apartments in Preston City Centre, with nine two bedroom apartments and 21 one bedroom apartments.
The renovation will also includea total transformation of the ground floor and basement of 35 Glovers Court into a brand new retail unit, restaurant and storage space.

Updated plans for a new drainage system were submitted to Preston City Council planning department on 11 January 2018.
A spokesperson for Reid Architects said: have taken over the project from David Cox Architects, after the project was sold.
